This Friday we’ll celebrate the arrival of Shabbat with a chant service.  Chants, songs, and a story of the Baal Shem Tov will help us learn about one of the seven components of our service — welcoming Shabbat, calling our community to prayer, listening for God’s word, speaking our own, learning a little Torah, hoping for a better world, and remembering those we have lost.

Our service will be simple, sweet, and gentle.  This Shabbat we are making the turn toward longer days and more light.  Let’s celebrate, learn, and pray together!  Children are welcome.
