For months, we’ve been talking about developing a children’s service to precede our Friday Night Services. Now, finally, we’re taking the bull by the horns, the kid by its furry head, the Chad, in essence, by its Gadya.
So if your kids would like to steal our show, bring them to services at 6:30 this May 20, where the children will lead us (no kidding) in a Shabbat singalong. Kabbalat Shabbat (welcoming Shabbat) will continue at 6:50, and services will get into full swing by 7 p.m.
Please bring a leetle something to nosh at the oneg following services. We will meet at MgGill Baptist Church in Concord (directions below). Non-members will be asked to contribute to our rental costs with a $10 per adult donation.

We’d like to see you for the annual Shavuot picnic. We’re including fun stuff for the kids, music for the kids, and Moses, Miriam, and Maimonides, a brand-new new skit performed by the kids.
Kids may bring their adults, who are invited to nosh and kibbitz.
We’ll also take the time for a very brief Yizkor (memorial) service: please let us know if you have family members we should include on our remembrance list.
Bring anything you like for noshing, but we are allowed to remember that dairy is the traditional food for the holiday. Blintzes, cheesecake, and… yogurt!
