Havurat Olam's Dr. Barbara Thiede has developed a number of programs on interfaith topics.. These programs have included introductions to Jewish prayer and observance, discussions of biblical figures, and text studies on the causes of religious violence. Recently, she acted as an advisor for the Levine Museum of the New South's exhibit on the three Abrahamic faiths.

On April 02, 2006, Havurat Olam members visited the Dead Sea Scrolls at Discovery Place together with members of McGill Baptist Church, Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church, and Trinity United Church of Christ.

On December 20, 2006, Havurat Olam and McGill Baptist Church organized an Interfaith Holiday Party. All proceeds went to benefit the religious schools of each congregation.

For July, we are preparing a FREE Interfaith Summer Camp: "Our Founding Family: Re-discovering the Ancestors of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity Building Bridges, Exploring Our Story An Interfaith Summer Camp for Christians, Muslims, and Jews." The camp will run from July 23 to July 27; click here for details and a flyer.
